This PFM unit has all the benefits of the high speed diesel units, but has been specially designed for use with 180 cSt Marine Fuel Oil (MFO). The system needs to be installed in the last & highest temperature heating stage of fuel directly before engine(s). Given this, the system has its own cooling fan to ensure is stays cool. The unit has a flow path that is oblong & significantly flatter than the standard PFM units to ensure that the LED’s light spread can penetrate the thicker grade fuel.
