Hippo Lube Filtration Systems
Our Hippo Filters are distributed worldwide & can fit onto a wide range of construction machinery, filtering oil as the machine is running. The systems are simple in design with the filter cartridges very low priced to ensure OPEX is kept to an absolute minimum!

BD5000 Kidney Filtration System

KLU-01 Kidney Loop Unit
The KLU is a filtration cart designed to perform superbly within constant industrial or intermittent oil transfer applications. It offers high capacity alongside flexible element selection & easy element changeovers. The system is specifically designed to handle high viscous lubricants with it able to filter up to 780 cSt oils. This is achieved through a high pressure (6 bar) pump & a specialist filter cartridge sealing system.
The KLU-01 is a skid mounted oil filtration system, it is fitted with a GK9 3-stack filter housing which uses GeoSeal filter media, the self priming gear pump can deliver contaminated oil up to a very respectable 30 L/min. A Pop-up indicator fitted at the base of the filter housing, will inform the user when the filter media is blocked. Varnish Elimination Unit
The service-friendly Varnish Elimination Unit (VEU) is used to prepare mineral oils & is particularly effective at removing oil aging products (varnish) from mineral oils. Varnish takes the form of oil-insoluble aging products which settle in the tank, in valves or in bearings. The can be filterable gels or solid paint-type deposits. There are two size models:

The VEU series product is used in bypass flow. The removal of the varnish is based on reducing the oil solubility for varnish with subsequent filtration using a combination of heat exchanger with Dimicron®️ filter element technology.

Lube Storage Tank Breathers
Normally lube tank breathers allow moist air & particulate to flow straight into tanks. Tanks continually breath in moist & dirty air which condenses on the tank’s walls & falls into the lubricant.
FluidTek supply & can install specialist tank breather systems that filter moisture & particulate, keeping lube in tanks both clean & dry!

Magnetic Suction Separators
Magnetic suction separtors protect downstream components by capturing potentially harmful ferrous particles. FluidTek sell a range of these strainers both stand alone, or enclosed in a housing. This housing can be used either in-line (RF-SKB or KF3-SKB) or as a reservoir-mounted filter (BFT-SKB).
